This Campus is unique to Friendship, as this is the only Historic building in their portfolio. It also houses students on the first and second floors and on the top floor are the community offices of FPCS.
The third floor was no longer being used for education and the team was out growing their current office space. It was decided that fiscally it made sense to relocate their offices and this location is more convenient to downtown.
The third floor was demolished to accommodate an office setting versus a classroom setting; it presented challenges since the structure was designed to house academia.
We worked with the General Contractor as a design-build team so that we could stay ahead of site conditions while meeting the client’s program, budget and schedule.
